Our JourneY
The Founder of Mindful Inclusions, Joshano Jugoo created the Studio as a playground to keep her soul nourished and turn it into a scared space to guide others on the same journey.
Coming from a design and high pace corporate background, she found herself caught up in a web of sleepless nights, ongoing stress causing an impaired immune system creating anxiety and many pills later, lead her down a path of spending several years studying and experimenting on different types of meditation energetic, somatic and mindful practices and modalities.
She spent years dabbling in different modalities. this is why she is so passionate about the MI Studio. Struggling to find all she needed under one umbrella and thousands of rands and dollars later she finally created her own program that integrates layers of consciousness and healing into her guidance of energy work, breathwork, movement, sound, soulful activities and other tools. It's a roll up of her best practices, modalities and tool that guided her to find inner truth. She has a graduated from a number of multiple holistic courses through the years, to name a few , include, Geohealing, BQH, Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique through Dolres Canyon and International Qualified Trauma based Breathwork Practioner with Pause.
Her practice with holistic paradigm and design creativity birthed the Self Expression Studio to be playful, heal and strengthen ones body, mind and soul while she holds space for you in a sacred environment to express yourself on your journey.
Her purpose is to guide as many children as possible to feel into their self worth, so they can navigate through life with confidence, self worth and consciously live life with flow and synergy.
Mindful is "to be conscious and aware of something, it is the mental state achieved by focusing ones's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting ones feelings thoughts , and body sensations."
We are MINDFUL, in a carefully deliberate manner to INCLUDE practices of the power of the THREE . . . the Body, the Mind and Energy (the breath), allowing each individual to tap into the primal power within themselves into Self Expression with synergy.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO PRACTICE BREATHWORK?
When we go into a meditative breathwork session, you get to lay on the floor, playing appropriate music and sounds. We will guide you to ground and use your breath to active breathing patterns for approximately 20-35 minutes, followed by few (10- 15) minutes of relaxation, gratitude and reflection. Each Breathwork session is unique and experiences can be different for each individual or from one Breathwork session to the next.

WHAT IS BREATHWORK?
Breathwork is an ancient technique that has roots in eastern practices like Yoga, Tai Chi and breath centred meditation in Buddhism. Our deepest level of mental, emotional and spiritual enrichment can be attained through the breath. It is a method where we use continual breathwork patterns to break down emotions in the body that are stagnant and that creates havoc on our energetic systems.
Breathwork is a practice of allowing our systems to see a different perspective as we feel deeply connected to our bodies and understand and experience the intelligence contained within our systems.
Pause Breathwork method is a way to heal, release, and transform. Tapping into the parasympathetic nervous system and allowing you to go into a rest and digest state or calm and composed states. Certain breath patterns are also used to activate the system and release trauma.
Breathwork is an active, efficient, effective technique that will allow you to disconnect from the mind, enter a different state of consciousness, and bring you to a deeper state of connection and love.
WHAT IS THE OUTCOMES OF BREATHWORK PRACTICE?
Breathwork helps you to regulate your nervous system, can open meridians and channels, aligns your body and its energy (releases stuck energy) and create a revelatory and healing experience, increasing the ability to adapt and react to life challenges with more ease and flow. The beauty of Breathwork is that it is a natural high from using your own body.
